If you have a concern about content, conduct, or moderation on Shiptionary, we want to hear about it.
How to raise a grievance
Email grievance@shiptionary.com with the following details:
- The URL or content you are reporting
- The reason for your concern (factual inaccuracy, defamation, harassment, etc.)
- Any supporting evidence or context
- Your name and a contact email so we can follow up
Our process
- Acknowledgement within 2 business days.
- Review of the reported content by our moderation team.
- Action taken if the content breaches our community standards (edit, hide, remove, or escalate).
- Resolution update sent to you within 10 business days.
What we do not do
We do not adjudicate factual disputes between reviewers and the companies/ships being reviewed. Reviews represent personal experience and are not independently verified by Shiptionary. If a review is genuinely defamatory or contains personally identifying information, see our Takedown Policy.
